Los Angeles, CA, September 19, announced today that Bryan Subotnick, Esq. has joined the company as Senior Vice President/Director of Legal Affairs. Mr. Subotnick will represent in all areas of legal transactions. His experience is highly versatile and positions him to manage the legal activities that will be on-going at He was previously a legal consultant to Metromedia, Inc., a privately held company that was one of the largest communication companies in the world. Metromedia sold its media assets to News Corporation in 1985, and was then used to form the nucleus of the Fox Broadcasting Company. He was previously Vice President and General Counsel of Papamarkou & Company, an SEC registered asset management company based in New York City. He was also a founder and general partner of Shanker & Subotnick, an entertainment law firm. Mr. Subotnick brings years of experience in growing segments of the Hispanic market, including serving as Executive Vice President of Big City Radio, a New York based owner of radio stations, where he helped grow the company from 4 regional stations to 16 national stations, and its ultimate listing on the American Stock Exchange. While at Big City Radio, he managed many aspects of the company operations, including acquisitions, programming, budgeting and client relations, and assisted in raising over $33 million in the company’s IPO, and $174 million in a public debt offering. He was instrumental in transforming Big City Radio’s varied English speaking radio formats into the fourth largest Spanish speaking radio company in the United States.
