Ms. Lyday has a long and distinguished career in the home shopping and ecommerce industry, and has been the go-to expert, both producing and hosting segments for media venues such as CNN, MSNBC, FOX NEWS, ABC, NBC’s The Today Show, and numerous other national and local television shows. The Home Shopping Network (HSN) has contracted her to be the Home Improvement Expert guest host demonstrating products in home interiors, gardening and organization.  She is known as The Woman with a Hammer, and was the first woman to win “The Golden Hammer Award” in New York City in the 1980’s establishing herself as a trail-blazer for women representing the construction industry.  In 1997, the Discovery Channel cast her as one of television’s only licensed female carpenters on “Give Me Shelter”. Lynda went on to host more than 350 home improvement shows for HGTV and The DIY Network. “The Fix” and “Talk2DIY” honored her with two Telly Awards. She’s often interviewed and quoted in newspapers and magazines throughout the country. In 2003, Lynda first appeared on QVC, and in 2011, she became a regular guest host on HSN Home Shopping Network.
